Mutual Aid LA Network (MALAN) is a connector and information hub for mutual aid efforts, people and resources across Los Angeles. We’re building toward abolition and believe in an abundant world that can be freed of oppression through community solidarity.

Our hot off-the-press 2023 Year-End Update might be a nice place to start if you’re curious about who we are or what we’ve been up to this last year. This calendar is up-to-date and full of volunteer opportunities and events organized by the groups listed in this month’s Dispatch. Tell us about yourself via our involvement inquiry form and consider joining our Discord server (our main communication hub) where you can get guidance and ideas on where and how to plug in. Our list of projects is always changing and awaiting your input. We have MERCH 4 PURCH, and are grateful for every donation. All funds go toward our projects, cover our small operating costs, are redistributed to other mutual aid efforts across LA or are redistributed as direct aid to individuals.

On November 30th, Mutual Aid LA Network was interviewed and featured in a segment of the KCRW show ‘Greater LA’. We talk with host Steve Chiotakis about the understandable overwhelm one might experience in response to all there is to do and how the Dispatch is just the resource to lean on enough to get our bearings and follow through on doing something.
